In 1977, the late Mahendra M. Shah started dealing in Diamonds and Pearls in India. The group soon expanded operations to Hong Kong and Japan.
In 1987, Amit Shah began fancy-shaped diamond operations in Hong Kong and a rough-diamond business in Dubai in 2014. He currently runs the Hong Kong and UAE operations.
In 1992, Sandeep Shah joined the team as a buyer of natural fancy-shaped diamonds in Mumbai, India. He presently manages the Indian Diamond and Real Estate divisions.
In 2015, Rahil Shah joined the team in Hong Kong, handling diamond sales and the Jewelry division. He also manages the Investments and Strategic Initiatives of the group.
